Amy's family friend Jennifer Snyder nominated her as one of the "women across the country who have displayed amazing strength and courage as breast cancer survivors, and are strong personal supporters or advocates fighting for a cure." Thank you American Express Members Project! Although we didn't make it into the top 5 to receive funding, we placed 13 out of nearly 1,200 projects nationwide. We were also partnered with the wonderful Starlight Children's Foundation. Further, we garnered more than 20,000 views on our project page from all over the country, secured nearly 2,000 votes in the semifinals and received the fourth highest amount of comments, showing how much people support the idea. We also landed more than 1,850 views of our video on You Tube and were mentioned on Good Morning America.
